How to use CanoScan LiDE 210
The CanoScan LiDE210 model is a manual scanner type of Canon that used widely in offices for scanning the document, it allows save the result under different formats as pdf, jpg extention. To use this model, the first we have to download and install the Navigator EX 4.0 driver on the computer.
Steps to use CanoScan LiDE210
On the main menu interface of Navigator EX 4.0, we select “ Scan/Import” or “One-click” icons to setup parameters before scanning the document. With “Scan/Import” item will permit to setup parameters, perform scanning the document before and select the stored methods with file formats after. Finally “One-click” item will allow setup parameters and select file formats, stored location before scanning.
Steps to setup parameters in “Scan/Import” item.
Two modes are available to select, “Auto Scan” mode allows user to start scanning without setting parameters, and “Photos/Documents (platen)” mode allow user can adjust some parameters in “specify” section as bellow:
- Document type: Color Photo, black and white photo, color document, black and white document, magazine (color), text (OCR).
- Document size: A4, A5, B5, letter…
- Scanning resolution: 75dpi, 100dpi, 150dpi, 200dpi, 300dpi, 400dpi, 600dpi.
After complete setting parameters, we select “scan” item to start scanning the document
To save the result we select “save” to store at JPEG/Exif, TIFF, BMP formats, and select “save as PDF file” to store at pdf format.
Steps to setup parameters in “One-click” item.
On the interface of “one-click” item, we select “PDF” icon to setup parameters as document solution, type, size and the location to save pdf file after scanning. “scan” icon allow to setup parameters as with “PDF” icon, but file will be saved at JPEG, TIFF, BMP formats.
